AI/ML Engineer

As Intern, AI/ML Engineer will be part of our team to develop soft-wares that delivers our vision of simplifying the daily work of F&B business owners.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, sanitize, develop base-line and implement features to develop our AI/ML tools, including

    • OCR tool

    • Pricing prediction engine

    • Traffic and revenue prediction tool

    • Natural language processing

  • Work with our full-stack developer, design and customer success team to improve data collection quality

 

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of using statistical computer languages (Python, SLQ, etc.) to process data and draw insights from large data sets.

  • Knowledge of working with and creating data architectures.

  • Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.

  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.

  • Knowledge in statistical and data mining techniques: GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, social network analysis, etc.

  • Eagerness to learn and good work ethics, commit at least 20 hours per week.

  • Strong teamwork and time-management skills due to the team being stretched on different time zones (North America, Vietnam, East Asia).
